Star Origins is an epic massively multiplayer space strategy play-and-earn game on the Massa blockchain, set in a persistent & community-driven universe where you can fight, share, socialize, mine and trade your planet's resources.
To play the game, you either need to own a planet or acquire a commander to play on a leased territory.
The project was founded by Web3 Studio, a team of innovators, crypto lovers, and gamers.
There is currently no official date for the release of Star Origins. We plan to release an alpha by Q1 2023 and the public launch by Q3/Q4 2023.
The plan is to release the planets during Q2 2023. Check the roadmap for more information.
The total supply at launch will be 8,000 planets.
To get a whitelist spot, you will have to join a fun and gamified quest system through the Star Origins website and Discord. More conventional ways will also be available to secure you a spot for the public launch.
Users will be able to play the game directly on their web-browser (Chrome, Firefox, Brave, etc.) and on our mobile app.

Tokenomics
STAR is the governance token that will be used for a variety of things from DAO to staking and much more.
The ORI Token is the in-game currency and will be used for all in-game interactions.
The game is ruled by a dual token system which provides more economic stability and utility for the tokens itself. The STAR Token will have a limited supply and be deflationary while ORI is inflationary.
Gameplay
In Star Origins, the universe is a cold and cruel place where you will have to compete with other planet owners to assert intergalactic dominance and earn real cryptocurrencies in the process. Players will earn both STAR and ORI tokens, our 2 cryptocurrencies, STAR being the governance token and ORI being the in-game token.
Planets are the most important NFTs to possess in the game. You can start mining resources and build infrastructures to grow your overall influence in the solar system. This is also where your headquarters will be built which will directly impact the level of your planet, progressively giving your NFT more value on the market.
Each player will have to choose a commander at the beginning of the game. They are divided into 4 different species that will be used to manage your planet's Headquarters. Every commander will come with their own unique stat bonuses.
Spaceship blueprints are exclusive NFTs that will be available to every planet owner directly through the Star ORIGINS marketplace. These NFTs will always come in a limited supply and will grant access to unique spaceship models in the Spaceship Factory. From there, you will be able to craft unique fleets as long as you possess the corresponding blueprint and have achieved the various in-game prerequisites.
There are a myriad of ways to earn money in Star Origins. You can for example rent your planet’s territories to other players, stake your tokens, fight with other players and win battles, join an alliance and compete in an intergalactic war and much more.
Connect to the Star Origins marketplace to join the game ecosystem and conduct your first transactions. There, you will be able to buy, sell or trade your planets and blueprints directly on the marketplace. This is also the place where you can stake your STAR tokens.
